Website seeks to link people with MS and clinical trials

March 24, 2021
Sanofi-Genzyme has launched a new website aimed at recruiting people with multiple sclerosis for clinical trials. Participants may qualify for a clinical trial evaluating the efficacy and safety of an investigational drug to treat MS.

There is a nine-question-long online prescreening survey that will take about two minutes to complete. Participants won’t need to submit contact information in order to get prescreen results. Participants will receive a real-time assessment of their preliminary qualifications. Those who prequalify will then have the option of submitting their contact information. A trial representative will make contact only after participants agree to be contacted.

Participants may be eligible for a multiple sclerosis clinical trial if they are:

* a man or woman between the ages of 18 and 55 years who has a current diagnosis of relapsing MS;

* a man or woman between the ages of 18 and 60 years who has a current diagnosis of nonrelapsing secondary progressive MS; or

* a man or woman between the ages of 18 and 55 years who has a current diagnosis of primary progressive MS.
