Researchers are seeking participants for a study being done by the Motor Control Research Laboratory within the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The purpose of the study is to explore the prevalence and circumstances of falls and fall-related injuries, in relation to physical function and activity levels, in community-dwelling older adults, and those with neurological conditions, such as multiple sclerosis, during the Covid-19-lockdown.

Participating in this research study will include completion of an online survey. You will first answer demographic questions (i.e., age, gender, educational level). You will then answer different questions related to your physical activity levels, physical function level, and complete a falls survey asking about previous history of falls. The online survey will take about 15 minutes to complete. Participation in this research is voluntary. If you decide to participate, you are free to withdraw at any time.

Faculty, students, and staff who may see your information will maintain confidentiality to the extent of federal and state laws and university policies. Personal identifiers will not be published or presented. Your de-identified information could be used for future research without additional informed consent.
